Flea and Tick Preventatives
One of the most miserable problems that pets contend with are parasites.
Fleas and ticks are especially bad in the South and our pets require
constant protection. Luckily they live in a time when there are
great prevention products available.
In our area, mosquitos are extremely prevalent and may spread heartworm
disease to your pet. It is almost inevitable that a dog lacking
heartworm prevention will develop an infestation at some point in
his/her life. Fortunately, there are excellent and effective heartworm
preventatives available for your pet that can be administered monthly.
Insect Preventatives we stock:
Dog and cat topical flea and tick preventative. When applied monthly,
it is close to 100% effective against these parasites.
Advantix - Topical flea, tick, and mosquito preventative for dogs.
Kill fleas and repels mosquitos and ticks.
Advantage - Topical flea preventative for cats. Kills fleas but
has no effect on ticks.
A truly effective tick-repelling dog collar.
Heartworm Preventatives we stock:
A chewable monthly heartworm preventative for dogs and cats; also
effective against roundworms and hookworms.
